Advent at Chase Valley Church
The spirit of Advent is one of expectation and anticipation. The word Advent means “coming” or “arrival”, and begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas. It is the season to anticipate the birth of Jesus.
The message of the next four weeks is about the Unstoppable Purpose of God moving in history to completely redesign who we are, and what it means to be fully human. It’s the story of what God did and does in our world to change everything and how it impacts you and me. It makes it possible then for us to be the church God has in mind … “an unstoppable force” in our world. SO let’s enter ADVENT this year eager to experience the unstoppable purpose of God.
