Warm Coats from Warm Hearts
The Mission Team is kicking off a drive for God’s children who are less fortunate. Starting Sunday, January 3rd, we will be collecting the below listed items. They will be given to the Rose of Sharon, which serves and ministers to the homeless. Please open your hearts and closets and give freely.
This month we will collect coats, blankets, stocking caps, and scarves to donate to the area’s needy. Gently used, like new coats and blankets in all sizes for children and adults will be collected. If you have any of the mentioned items not being used, please bring them to the church in January.
Tubs and hanging racks will be in the lobby.
UPDATE: Warm Coats from Warm Hearts…….was a wonderful success. Thanks to all of you that participated. We donated over 100 coats/jackets, 33 hats, 16 scarves, 40 pairs of shoes, 20 blankets, and many sweaters, gloves, socks, and sweatshirts. Many of these items went directly to the homeless, and others were donated to the Rose of Sharon, which serves and ministers to the homeless.
